"States of Being" - 5 x 10 limited lino print

This is a 5 inch by 10 inch lino print of “States of Being” . The lino print is done on delicate white printing paper, and then mounted onto acid-free white cotton cardstock.

Lino printing is a time intensive, meditative process. First, we carve our designs on linoleum, and then apply an oil-based printing ink with a brayer. Then, Japanese printing paper is laid across the design, and the print is transferred (with some help of a baren and pressure!)

As we’re a small studio, we’ve limited this print run to 3, and it will be numbered and signed on the back.

The States of Being series was inspired by our kitten/cat Luppy. She’s our first black cat, and she looks exactly like this. You can find individual cat prints, and stickers, here: Black Cat Series.

Signed and numbered on the back, and comes securely packaged with a plastic sleeve and a backer board, as well as a pamphlet about our studio.
